Etxeis Basque for home.

/ EH · cheh /

A ceramics studio and a two-person coffee roastery, kept deliberately small. Pots are thrown and fired in our kitchen; coffee is roasted on rented time at a co-op roastery a few blocks away, 130 grams to a bag. Nothing here is made in quantities we can't keep track of by hand.

Etxe Ceramics

Alexandra's side of the house. Speckled stoneware for daily use — mugs, bowls, small vessels — decorated in underglaze crayon and dipped in a thinned clear, so the drawing stays soft and the clay keeps its freckles.

The House ListTwo notes a month, at most.

One when a new roast comes off the drum. One when the kiln is unloaded. Nothing else — no discount codes, no countdowns.
